Technology
Auto Condition Pro is a mobile-first app with a serverless AI backend. Built using modern web technologies and deployed as a native mobile app using Capacitor, the frontend is a standard Node.js application.
The backend is architected on Cloud Functions, providing a scalable, serverless environment. The application's core intelligence comes from the vitals check function, which integrates with Google's Vertex AI and powerful AI models.
When a user submits an image, the function sends it to the AI Model to perform Optical Character Recognition (OCR) and data extraction. This AI-driven process replaces manual data entry for key vehicle vitals. The backend also features secure data persistence using a PostgreSQL database, accessed from the Cloud Functions via a VPC Connector to ensure private and secure communication.
